Sun Jul 2, Sat Jul 15, Sun Jul 23 or Tue Aug 1, 2017

After boarding the retired Maine lobster boat UGLY ANNE in Mackinaw City at 9:00 AM, you will pass beneath the Mackinac Bridge and head 7 miles west and back 100 years in time to the beautifully restored St. Helena Island light station.

The boat will pull right up to the dock, allowing you to step easily onto the island. After enjoying some St. Helena Island welcome mints, you will be given a guided tour of the entire light station. You will then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in the lighthouse dining room, or al fresco if the weather allows. You will then be free to tour the light station on your own or take a walk along the beach to the site of the old village which used to be on the island. You will then re-board UGLY ANNE around 2:30 PM to enjoy the return trip to Mackinaw City.

The cost for this awesome day is only $70.00, and includes transportation, food and beverages. All participants will need to be GLLKA members. If you are not a GLLKA member, you can easily purchase a membership at the same time as you make your reservation.
