| Every year, the Federal
Department responsible for the nation's aids to navigation published a
complete listing of all aids to navigation. Commonly known as "Light
Lists," these books contained considerable descriptive information about
the structures, their location, appearance, height and light and sound
signal characteristics. As such, they are extremely useful in tracking
changes over time. GLLKA is embarking on an initiative to digitize these
volumes and make them available for online research. Click on the links
below to view the volumes which have been digitized thus far. |
